Frances Bay was an actress who was best known for her roles in films such as Happy Gilmore, The Little Rascals, and The Waterboy. She was born on January 23, 1919 in Mannville, Alberta, Canada. She began her career in the 1950s and appeared in numerous television shows and films throughout her career. Bay was married to actor and director Max Goffman from 1945 until his death in 1984. She had two children with him, a son and a daughter. Bay was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in the television series The Golden Girls in 1988. She also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004. Bay passed away on September 15, 2011 at the age of 92. Her net worth at the time of her death was estimated to be around $2 million.
