Zan Rowe is an Australian radio presenter and music journalist. She is best known for her work on Triple J, where she hosted the breakfast show from 2005 to 2011. She is currently the host of Double J's Mornings program. Rowe was born in Melbourne, Australia, and grew up in the suburb of Eltham. She attended Eltham High School and graduated in 1996. She then studied at the University of Melbourne, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications. Rowe began her career in radio in 1998, when she joined Triple J as a part-time presenter. She eventually became the host of the breakfast show in 2005, and remained in the role until 2011. During her time at Triple J, she also hosted the music program The Racket and the weekly music show The J Files. In 2012, Rowe left Triple J to join Double J as the host of the Mornings program. She has also presented the music program The J Files on Double J since 2013. Rowe has also worked as a music journalist, writing for publications such as Rolling Stone, The Age, and The Sydney Morning Herald. Rowe began the podcast Bang on with Myf Warhurst in March 2017
On December 4, 2017, Rowe announced she would be leaving Triple J and joining Double J.
In 2017, Rowe was announced as one of the panellists for ABC TV's new screen review show Screen Time, hosted by Chris Taylor.
